Goals for the Future
Create activities using technology to meet and support all types of learners.
Use Google Slides to create interactive lessons that will engage the students.
Utilize Seesaw's digital citizenship activities for early childhood students.
Collaborate with coworkers to stay up to date with technology and new resources.
Weakness
One of my weaknesses is working on excel. I still struggle with remembering the steps to make charts and record data. The formulas confuse me. To continue to grow in this area, I will ask my peers, professors, and/or coworkers for help. I will also look up how-to videos on youtube. I saved this document in my Google Drive as a reference to look at in the future. My goal is to be able to use excel on a daily basis to record grades and compare students test scores.
Overview
This course has taught me so much information that I plan to use in my life. There are so many things I have learned over these past couple of months, but I will share the ones that stick out the most to me. I now know that I cannot use or share any picture I find on the internet to support my work. I have to make sure it is within the public domain. I also learned how to use simple tools on Google Drive and Google Docs. I truly wish I would have taken this course sooner, because it would have helped me with my previous classes. I also did not realize that teaching students how to be a good digital citizen was a standard. After learning about the ISTE Standards for students and educators, I understand what students and myself are expected to do/know. All of the information I have learned will help make my life less stressful and time consuming!
